LOCATION
Walnuts Hills is located outside Franklin and Highlands, NC, in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Our neighborhood is secluded but not remote, yet easily accessible to Franklin, with a gateway off the mountain to Atlanta or Asheville with US 441/23.
The Micro-Resort
Walnut Hills is comprised of 37 lots, and Cedar Knob is 117 acres known as the Ridges of Cedar Knob is 4 lots. We have assembled both tracts into a micro-resort community featuring 130 acres of private greenspace and entrance into the Nantahala National Forest with 10 lots available.

Walnuts Hills was developed in 1982, originally comprised of 37 lots each from 1 to 3 acres. Shown are the 6 lots available, and the 10 other lots already sold to private owners. The remaining lots are placed into our community green space.
About the Team
We are not only the developers, but this is home. After years seeking the right opportunity, a group of friends came together to build our spot in the mountains. Our mission is sustainability and tranquility, so we have reduced the density to create greenspace with trails and recreation in the forest. The same sustainable building team and process we are applying to our homes.
Our local General Contractor has decades of building high-end custom homes in Highlands and Macon county. We have put together a team to build these sustainable custom home in our community for the summer of 2022.
